Using the Virtual Whiteboard
Description: Teachers are constantly trying to find new teaching ideas to grab and maintain students’ attention and enhance their engagement. One of the innovative teaching techniques is the use of the virtual whiteboard that provides an interactive and collaborative learning experience where learners can work together creatively in real-time, share their ideas, effectively brainstorm, collaborate and organize collective thinking into actionable next steps. On the other hand, teachers can share annotations, lead activities, get students to work on the board, keep track of assignments, add insights to their class, and more. During this training, teachers will learn how to set up and design their whiteboards and integrate them into their classrooms.
Outcomes:
In this training, participants will:
– Be introduced to the tool, its features and its educational benefits.
– Add elements such as texts, sticky notes, pictures, Word documents, PowerPoint, PDF, etc.
– Learn how to collaboratively work with their students on the whiteboards.
– Learn how to save and export the files in supported formats.
