Using Microsoft OneNote
Description: The more you learn about OneNote, the more likely you are to embrace it as one of the best teaching and learning tools available today. Microsoft OneNote is often described as a digital 3-ring binder or considered to be the Swiss Army Knife of notetaking. The aforementioned description covers the basics, but over the years OneNote has gained many new features designed with education in mind. It has now blossomed into a comprehensive teaching and learning framework that belongs in every learner’s toolbox. In this training, teachers will learn how to navigate the OneNote app in order to structure, organize, access, collaborate and share content with their students. Also, they will explore the OneNote tools that allow them to effectively review and interact with their students’ notes and create lesson plans, assessments and learning activities.
Outcomes:
In this training, participants will:
– Be introduced to the tool, its features and its educational benefits.
– Create a OneNote Class Notebook.
– Use OneNote to create and share content with students and manage their digital notes.
– Develop the basic skills needed to use OneNote as a productivity tool.
