Using Canva in the Classroom
Description: Canva’s dedicated classroom space provides educators with the means to streamline their teaching activities, including sharing and reviewing work across various platforms like Google Classroom and Microsoft Teams. Additionally, it allows for efficient management of lessons, projects, and activities while enabling the creation of visually appealing designs, documents, and graphics. This workshop is designed to familiarize educators with the process of crafting compelling visual content, including slides, flyers, posters, social media posts, books, album covers, presentations, resumes, photo collages, and much more, to enhance their teaching approach.
Outcomes:
In this training, participants will:
– Be introduced to the tool, its features and its educational benefits.
– Develop a design kit tailored to classroom needs.
– Create a range of engaging and interactive teaching resources, including presentations, infographics, mind maps, videos, badges, certificates, worksheets, logos, posters, cards, and more.
