Creating Mind Maps & Infographics

Description: Mind Mapping is a learning technique that uses a non-linear approach that encourages learners to think and explore concepts using visual-spatial relationships flowing from a central theme to peripheral branches which can be inter-related. Also, it allows them to associate new concepts with existing ones or to structure their ideas and knowledge of a particular domain. As for Infographics, they often prove to be so effective in educational contexts because they use imagery to highlight, explain, and enhance text-based information. Moreover, they capture attention, convey information, and encourage data retention. During this training, teachers will learn how to create effective and efficient mind maps and infographics.

Outcomes:
In this training, participants will:
– Be introduced to mind maps and infographics and their educational benefits.
– Plan, create and design mind maps and infographics.
– Learn how to choose appropriate elements, media and visuals to create mind maps and infographics.
– Learn how to use these mind maps and infographics in their classes.
